Manuscript Submission Format

Cover Page

• The cover page will be developed as part of the manuscript submission process.
• You will answer the same questions that have been required in past years, but you will do it on-line at time of submission. The electronic manuscript submission form will include:
  
  • Manuscript Title
  • Name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address of all authors
  • Is at least one author of the manuscript a current member of AAAE?
  • Do you want the manuscript, if accepted for presentation, considered for the Journal of Southern Agricultural Education Research (JSAER)?
  • Were your institution's requirements for human subjects research, if applicalbe, met for this research?
  • Has this manuscript been submitted for presentation at other meetings or to other journals? If yes, please specify.
  • Is this manuscript the result of graduate student research? If yes, will the graduate student present the manuscript in Orlando, if accepted?
  
  
  

Manuscript

• No names of any authors should be on the manuscript itself.
• Manuscript title centered and in CAPS at the top of first page
• Maximum 12 pages (including figures/tables/references)
• Single-spaced, double-spaced between paragraphs
• 12-point Times New Roman font
• One inch margins
• Tables/figures placed within the body of the text at the appropriate locations
• Table function rather than tabs and spaces used to prepare tables
• Page numbers centered at the bottom of all pages
• Abstract (not to exceed 300 words) typed in italics and placed after the title on the
  front page
• Main body of text immediately after abstract – use APA 5 th Edition style
• Manuscript sections to include:

  • Introduction, Theoretical/Conceptual Framework, Purpose and Objectives, Procedures, Findings, Conclusions, Recommendations, Discussion/Implications, and References (or other appropriate format for qualitative research) ° Manuscript must be submitted as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document.
